应对上面这个题目，考生在主体段有一句是这么写的：

Despite the economic reasons, there is another reason for national reputation.

※ 这句话是主段的第二个分论点，起头介绍第二个原因。

改写如下

Economic reasons aside, there is another reason: to enhance the national reputation.

解析：

※ despite 介词，“虽然，尽管”，表示虽可能有其他障碍，但这件事还是成真了。例：Despite applying for hundreds of jobs, he is still out of work.

※ 分析原因时，这两个原因基本属于并列或递进关系，所以改写成economic reasons aside, “抛开经济原因不提”。

※ reason 常见的搭配有：

* reason for … 某情况发生的理由，如reason for her decision她所做决定的理由

* reason why … 某情况发生的理由，reason why you’re so late你迟到这么久的理由

原句中，国家的名声已经是原因本身了，所以改用冒号解释说明reason。
