网课对于孩子的学习成绩影响究竟有多大-胡萍

由于疫情的影响，各大中小学停课，随后所有课程转为网课。不光是我国，随后爆发疫情的欧美学校也开启了网课模式，网上对网课的讨论也一波接一波。学生感叹人在家中坐，网课天上来；学生家长抱怨网课操作不便，孩子视力下降；老师担心远程无法有效监督学生学习，影响学习成绩....经济学人杂志2月的一篇文章也专门讨论了中国开展的如火如荼的网课。其实网课，即远程教育（remote learning/distance learning）的相关话题也是雅思写作考察的话题之一：

Some people think that distance learning has more advantages than schools so schools will disappear from our lives. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Universities and colleges are now offering qualifications through distance learning from the Internet rather than teachers in the classroom. Do you think the advantages of this development overweight the disadvantages?

这些题目都涉及到远程教育的利弊，在这里把利弊稍作总结。

Advantages：

节省往返学校的时间和成本。

Ø It is a cost-effective approach because transport costs and commuting time are saved.

有专业的网课平台辅助。

Ø Most teaching activities can be efficiently conducted using professional video-conferencing platforms, such as Chinese Dingtalk.

学生可以回看或者下载课程视频，根据自己的情况重复学习。

It is convenient for students to download or review the audio files and materials according to their individual needs.

Disadvantages:

很多家长担心长时间盯着屏幕会损伤视力。

Ø Many parents complain that children’s long time staring at the screens of computers or cellphones has led to eyesight problems.

对于一些自律能力差的同学，网络上的其他信息可能会干扰学习。

Ø Discipline may be a problem for students who are less self-disciplined. They are easily to be distracted by other information on the Internet from their study, such as online games.

另外老师监督减少，有些同学在学习上会放松。

Furthermore, with less supervision from teachers, some students without good learning habits will slack off in study.
